It's December 31st, and as everyone knows, this is the most festive time of the year! Which of course, results in LOADS of baking! Me and my family and having another family round for the new year - NEVER mention 'Wassailing' to your family, it's disastrous! Anyway, the mother of this family is an experienced food tech teacher, and also a lactose intolerant! Therefore, I have decided to bake her a chocolate roulade, so she can be impressed by my difficult choice in recipes, but there will be no constant criticism on the flavour, or little tips that I don't care about or don't understand!
But it went alright actually! It tastes fine, it looks fine, and it contains chocolate, which pleases the majority of people! But, they're arriving in about an hour, so, wish me luck! If you want to try one for yourself, the recipe I used was Mary Berry's, which would be in any of her decent recipe books. Happy Baking!
